Weekly Meal Plan 2026-01-17

For this week’s menu, I chose old favourites from our meal plan, with no new recipes.

There’s a dreary-looking week of weather ahead, with clouds and flurries most days. And after today, the temperatures will hover between -5°C and -9°C, so bundle up!

I didn’t include a new recipe this week, but we haven’t had the Chicken Thighs with Honey Lemon Rice since last summer, so it will be nice to have that again. And maybe we’ll try something new in our next meal plan.

Sunday Jan 18 – National Winnie The Pooh Day

This isn’t an official food day, but Winnie the Pooh loves honey! So here’s one of our favourite supper recipes that has honey as a key ingredient. It’s quick and easy to make, and it tastes great!

Tuesday Jan 20 – National Cheese Lover’s Day

Isn’t everyone a cheese lover? Maybe not, but cheese is one of the favourite foods at our house!

Here are a couple of cheesy recipes that we enjoy:

Saturday Jan 24 – National Peanut Butter Day

Peanut butter is another favourite food at our house. It’s great for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and even for supper!

Here are a couple of recipes that include peanut butter – one is a tasty snack, and the other is a supper side dish.
