Here in Mississauga, the forecast for next week shows clouds every day, with temperatures in the high 20s and low 30s. It could be worse, I guess!
For this week’s menu, I chose old favourites from our meal plan, and with no new recipes. We’ll take it easy, and maybe try something new next week!
The Carrot Apple soup fell off the menu last week, and so did the Turkey Schnitzel, so I’ve put them on for this week. We’ll see what happens!

How It Actually Went
Here’s what we actually had this week – we had five of the planned meals
Sunday — Sheet Pan Lemon Garlic Salmon
Keith bought salmon on Friday, so we had it for supper on Sunday, instead of freezing it, to have later in the week.
Monday — Sheet Pan Pork Chops & Brussels Sprouts
The pork chops got bumped from Sunday, and the Chicken Mushroom pasta fell off the menu.
Tuesday — Carrot Apple Ginger Soup
This meal went as planned, and was delicious, as always
Wednesday — Turkey Schnitzel
This meal also went as planned, cooked in the air fryer, with sheet pan vegetables on the side
Thursday — Hamburger Scramble
I never make this recipe the same way twice! This time I added canned sliced mushrooms, frozen mire poixe, and frozen riced vegetables.
Friday – Burgers
Keith volunteered to make burgers, so the grilled cheese fell off the menu.
Saturday — Lamb Chops
We had the salmon earlier in the week, so Keith made sous vide lamb chops, and finished them under the oven broiler.
