For this week’s menu, I chose old favourites from our meal plan, and included one new recipe – Crispy Lemon & Lamb Rice.

There’s a bit of sun today, so get out and enjoy that, if you can. After that, there are two cold and rainy days in the forecast. If you live in snow tire country, it might be time to make an appointment to get those on your car!
New and Old Recipes
I’ll try the new recipe, Crispy Lemon & Lamb Rice, on Sunday. It has an interesting way of cooking the ground meat, so I’ll let you know how that works out.
There’s also one recipe, Salisbury Steak, which we haven’t had since November 10, 2022.
In a strange coincidence, that’s exactly 3 years before the date that we’re having it next week – November 10, 2025!

How It Actually Went
Here’s what we actually had this week (to be updated later).
Sunday — Crispy Lemon & Lamb Rice
- This supper was okay, but not much flavour, and very dry.
Monday — Salisbury Steak
- This was an excellent supper! Keith made the patties, and I cooked them, and made the gravy.
Tuesday — Sheet Pan Pork Chops & Brussels Sprouts
- Excellent, as always
Wednesday — Sheet Pan Lemon Chicken and Vegetables
- Excellent, as always
Thursday — Easy Red Lentil Soup
- The soup was delicious, and I enjoyed the leftovers for lunch on Friday
Friday — Rack of Lamb
- Keith made this sous vide, and it was excellent, as always
Saturday — Rotisserie Chicken
- Easy, and delicious
