For this week’s menu, I chose old favourites from our meal plan, and included one new recipe. And scroll down to see the fun food day ideas too, like National Rotisserie Chicken Day (Tue Jun 2).

There’s a pretty good week of weather ahead, except for a bit of rain on Monday – and that’s the first of June!

This week’s new recipe is One-Pan Chicken and Asparagus Skillet Dinner which is ready in about 30 minutes to cook, and there’s only one pot to wash!

Food Celebration Days

Almost every day of the year has a food celebration that we can enjoy, or ignore! Here are a few of the food days for the upcoming week, with recipe ideas for you.

Monday, Jun 01 – National Olive Day

This celebration was started 2015 by the Divina food company, to encourage us to enjoy olives, all year round.

National Rotisserie Chicken Day also started in 2015, by the Boston Market restaurant chain. We enjoy rotisserie chicken about once a month, and a nice break from cooking.!
