Sometimes we call these “baking powder biscuits” and sometimes they’re “tea biscuits.” Whatever you call these biscuits, they’re delicious, especially when they’re fresh out of the oven!
For a tasty and low cost supper, put a cottage roll in the slow cooker after breakfast, and it will be ready in time for your supper! It looks a bit like ham, but has a different texture, and a saltier flavour.
Way back in 2009, Keith searched the internet for slow cooker rib recipes. He found a few, and combined the ideas into his own special recipe. The ribs cooked for several hours, and the house smelled wonderful all afternoon.
There’s a week of mixed weather ahead, and we might have to celebrate Canada Day indoors! I’m glad it will be cooler than last week though!
