Avgolemono Greek Lemon Soup

Whether it’s hot outside, or freezing cold, we always enjoy this simple lemon and egg soup. It only takes a few minutes to prepare, and it has a bold lemony flavour, that I love!

The egg makes the soup a bit creamy, but not too thick, and it’s added slowly to the soup, to prevent it from turning into “scrambled eggs”!

Chocolate Dump Cake

This cake is soft, gooey and absolutely delicious, which is surprising, considering its list of basic ingredients.

This recipe was used often during wartime when supplies were limited, which is why it doesn’t include milk or eggs. Despite that, it’s easy to make and always turns out great.

Weekly Meal Plan 2025-07-12

Here in Mississauga, the forecast for next week shows clouds every day, with temperatures in the high 20s and low 30s. It could be worse, I guess!
